Lacertine: of or like a lizard (also Lacertillian).
Bdelloid: of or like a leech.
Scary: that I didn't look these up. I actually know these words. I was a vocab freak in high school. I have a book called The Joy of Lex. Now that I think about it I also have The Joy of More Lex.
i am owner of "the word lover's dictionary", "the highly selective dictionary for the extraordinarily literate", as well as the thesaurus version. i will have to check out the joy of lex.
